I'm glad we took this vacation. We spent it in Malate Manila. It was a relaxing, fun, enjoyable, and a great time to remind eachother of our love, dreams, goals, and a time for refueling our passion for eachother.
The week started with a sunny and bright day. It was hot when we arrived in our hotel. I found this hotel over the internet, where i spent almost a week looking for, and after headaches and much arguing with myself, i finally found the right place.
After our last experience passing by Manila, right after our travel in Thailand, I learned a great deal that is, really planning a head, especially with the itinerary. I've always liked adventures like travelling without specific plan and exploring new places, but it is better to plan especially these important things like: place to stay, transportation (both direction and fares), contact numbers(I'll explain why later), weather forecast and budget. With the rest, I think it'll be fun to explore them when you get there.
So I have a few tips for those who loves travelling... Carefully check the place where you are going to stay, if you like a peaceful or noisy place. If you choose to travel in a city, you should also check if the place is near restaurants, malls, and other things you would like to visit. It would be better if it's just a walking distance. You can search in the internet to have an idea of the prices of hotels, apartels, pension houses. If your going camping, you might consider having a tent. For hotels, apartels and pension houses you should also check about amenities, if there's a free wifi, compelentary breakfast, and the like. Check for the prices of the hotel(s), transportation (taxi) at least; contact numbers of other hotels in your first top 3 list of hotels. This is in case the first place you chose wasn't what you expected. Contact numbers of your friends who probably know the place better, or has been there. Also the numbers of your embacy, if your travelling abroad. Never underestimate the weather. Check if there are storms or cyclones coming, this is to know if it's good for travelling. All of these would also depend on your budget. So know that first. And oh, also, when your travelling, try to leave other uncecessary gadgets at home, leave work at the office, and just be mentally and emotionally not just physically present to where you are. So you can enjoy the time.
To be continued...
