The Adventures of a Bookworm

Summary of the Story

Jil, a bookworm scared naïve little jelly fish who never goes out of their little cave until one day his mother didn’t come back home. Determined to look for his mother, he wondered around for the first time in his life and discovered the amazing world just outside his cave, his neighborhood.
Along the way, he met Sandy an adventurous skinny crab who joined him in his journey. Pretending to be detectives, they encountered different kinds of dangers after meeting Starky the shark who pretended to be their friend, who all along wanted to serve them for dinner.

Meet the Characters:
Jil is an only child of Mr. and Mrs. Fish. He is a bookworm jellyfish who spends his time reading. Because of the first scary book that he read when he was 2 days old, he never attempted to go out of the house even if his parents pushed him to. Later his extensive reading proved helpful in the search for his missing mother. Jil had private classes with Mrs. Goldy and Professor Bill a 100 year old turtle who visit their cave every day. After Jil lost his father in the mines, he takes care of his mother as he promised his father. He likes discussing about what he reads in his books with his mother in the fireplace after dinner. He likes taking care of his pet Bridget, a yellow snoring snail.

Mrs. Fish is a loving and understanding mother. She runs a buy and sell business to raise her son Jil. She loves cooking, fishing, cleaning, and talking to neighbors. She spends her day outside to sell her goods while little Jil is having his classes at home. She got her talent in finishing from his father who was a legend in fishing according to her.

Sandy is a skinny little crab who became friends with Jil. Sandy has skills in kicking cans and spitting 3 times simultaneously. He starts to turn weirder at night when he starts to talk and walk while asleep. He likes to laugh at his own jokes. He believes he is a clown fish.
