Cookies

To make this site work properly, we sometimes place small data files called cookies on your device. Most big websites do this too.

What are cookies?

A cookie is a small text file that a website saves on your computer or mobile device when you visit the site. It enables the website to remember your actions and preferences (such as login, language, font size and other display preferences) over a period of time, so you don’t have to keep re-entering them whenever you come back to the site or browse from one page to another.
Different types of cookies:
1. Persistent cookies are not deleted when the browser is closed. These cookies are used to retain preferences for a certain website to be used in future browsing sessions.

2. Session or transient cookies are stored only during a user’s browsing session which are automatically deleted when the browser is closed.

As for the domain to which it belongs, there are either:

3. first-party cookies which are set by the web server of the visited page and share the same domain
4.    third-party cookies stored by a different domain to the visited page's domain. This can happen when the webpage references a file, such as JavaScript, located outside its domain.
